ATCO - Case Study

As part of ATCOs globally diverse operations, ATCO provides natural gas to over 2 million customers with the majority located throughout Alberta and Northern Canada through an expansive network of transmission and distribution pipelines running thousands of kilometers across some of the most challenging and difficult to access locations in the country. As ATCO’s energy infrastructure has grown, so has the scale of the cathodic protection (CP) system required to sufficiently protect its steel pipeline assets from corrosion.
