The Challenge
Accurately measuring flow at a wastewater pump station with 10 integrated pipe pumps presented unique obstacles. The pumps, along with cables and mounting devices within the pipes, created hydraulic and measurement interferences. A tailored solution was essential to overcome these challenges.
Each pipe was equipped with a NivuFlow 750 transmitter and a POA pipe sensor. The transmitters were safely housed in field enclosures, ensuring durability. To address signal penetration issues caused by internal installations, the setup was fine-tuned for optimal performance.
