Custom Computer Hard Drives Disposal Solution - Case Study

Problem:

A computer recycling company was looking for a machine to physically alter computer hard drives so that they could assure their customers that the data on the hard drive was destroyed. They did not have a budget for a hook shear shredder.

Solution:

We developed a custom hard drive disposal solution. An air activated punch was developed which penetrated and holed the platters within the hard drive rendering the data unrecoverable.
