Differential Pressure Switches

Differential pressure switches have been used for years to monitor flow rates of both liquids and gases using orifice plates or other D.P. elements. The accuracy and reliability of BETA D.P. switches allow users to maintain flow rates and provide alarms when flows deviate from specifications.

Another useful application for DP. switches is measuring the differential pressure across filters in flow lines. As the filters begin to clog with debris, an increase in differential pressure is detected and the switches will alarm.

The relatively small size of the C (weather proof) or W (hazardous areas) switches and ease of set up make these a favorite technology in many industries.

The BETA`S high over pressure design also allows the switches to handle extreme pressure upsets without damage to the sensor.
