Continuous Electrodeionization Process
The continuous electrodeionization process (CEDI), is a system that uses ion exchange resins and electricity for the production of ultrapure deionized water without chemical processes and without production stops.
SIMPEC uses modular systems for the electrodeionization processes.
The CEDI modules are installed at the exit of permeate coming from reverse osmosis units for the "finishing phase". The resin inside the CEDI module stops the ions that are "escaped" from the reverse osmosis unit. The electricity regenerates the resin.
