The resulting oxygen reacts intensively with the existing pollutants in the liquid phase. The oxidized contaminants form flakes with dissolved iron and aluminum. The formation of these flakes is carried out in a pH range from 5 to 9. If the pH is outside of this range, the pH-regulating substances can be added before the electroflotation takes place.
