Pickering Generating Station Environment Management System Development

XCG Consultants assisted internal staff at Ontario Power Generation’s (OPG) Pickering Nuclear Generating Station to develop an Environmental Management System (EMS) for registration to the ISO 14001 Standard. The EMS Program implemented by XCG established the Pickering Nuclear Generating Station as one of the first ISO 14001 registered nuclear plants in the world. The Pickering site has a combination of radiological and conventional environmental issues
that were addressed in the EMS.
