Distribution facilities are very dynamic environments and snapshot data is as likely to be a transient event as it is to be a genuine safety or reliability issue.
Problem
High level of false alarms caused by safety & reliability indications from an individual environmental sensor.
Solution
CNIguard’s SensorView platform contains Software and ML solutions to analyze all data indications from a structure (including multiple sensors, visual/IR images and trends over time). This alerts a customer to an ‘environmental alarm’ with high confidence of an overall unsafe structure.
Response
Utility field crew can respond to environmental alarms with a high degree of knowledge on the state of a structure.
Results
Utility are able to identify areas of highest risk to safety and service failure, allowing them to prioritise inspection and pro-actively reduce risk to public safety.
