Ability Engineering’s Machine Shop is a full service machine shop located in our facility in South Holland, IL. Having the Machine Shop, Weld Shop, and Engineering in the same building allows us to work closely with operations to adapt to any custom job’s specifications and catch any possible issues that may arise in the Manufacturing stage.

Our welding projects range from highly technical tight tolerance large assemblies to designing and fabricating custom car/motorcycle parts. From course to fine, we have the experience, the practice, and superior knowledge of welding techniques.

Ability Engineering Technology Inc. has a long history of providing services to those looking for vessel and piping repairs and refurbishment. Often at AET we get requests to re-certify vessels that have been in long-standing running condition. We also hold a NBIC, National Board Inspection Code, “R” Stamp for the Repair of ASME S.VIII D.1 Pressure Vessels

We have an Abrasive Water-Jet Cutting System that enhances our internal fabricating capability. This system works using ultra-high water pressure. The high pressure water and abrasive work together to cut a variety of metallic and non-metallic materials. Cutting with two nozzles we can increase productivity of thinner parts by cutting two at once.
