This is an online monitoring sensor based on optical principles which precisely determines the lubricant oil degradation status, serving to ascertain its deterioration and contamination over the course of its useful life. This reduces the number of oil changes needed, with a positive impact on the environment and process sustainability.  The probe format design means it can be fitted directly to the lubrication system itself or the lubricant storage sump, without the need for any bypass. Any incident can be resolved in real time thanks to connectivity allowing straightforward integration with SCADA/PC/PLC or even CMS systems.

Water is one of the most dangerous contaminants for critical lubrication systems, not only because its presence can be a symptom of leaks, but also because it acts as a catalyst for corrosion of critical machine components and degradation of lubricating oil. OilMoisture is an online optical sensor that uses infrared technology to accurately detect water content in hydraulic and lubrication systems. Thanks to its early diagnostic capability, this sensor makes it possible to reduce potential failures associated with the presence of water, thus improving the reliability of machinery and processes.

The SMK combines the unique capabilities of its class of the OilWear® sensor with a built-in HMI display, allowing relevant information to be displayed at the machine. With its advanced technology, the sensor is able to detect particles and bubbles larger than 4 microns in the machine fluid and classify them into different size ranges. This information is presented in real time, providing accurate data on the machine status based on the contamination of its fluids. The SMK is a plug&play integration kit, compatible with all hydraulic systems regardless of their brand or design. It includes a flow condition solution to monitor operating conditions in pressurized or depressurized systems, regardless of fluid dynamics. Its HMI display includes all the necessary functionalities to control the system, view data in real time, store and retrieve it via USB. In addition, you can connect remotely and digitalize the lubricant-based condition monitoring of your assets.

The Rugged Smart Monitoring Kit has been specially designed for heavy and/or mobile machinery applications. This plug&play add-on kit is compatible with any hydraulic system, regardless of its brand or design. Equipped with the advanced Atten2 OilWear 2.0 sensor, the RSMK offers accurate particle counting to ISO or NAS standards, as well as detecting bubbles and recognising oil shapes and degradation. It includes a flow condition solution to monitor operating conditions, regardless of fluid dynamics. Wireless communication is via a 3G/4G gateway. The Rugged series has been designed to withstand the most extreme shock and vibration conditions. Its stainless steel housing guarantees protection against water and dust (IP66 and IK10), providing durability and reliability in any environment.
