FIFO – Bleeding Wheel
Bleeding is a critical step in fish processing. Optimal bleeding ensures the elimination of blood color in white fish and blackening in value-added (e.g. smoked) oily fish such as salmon or trout. Furthermore, efficient bleeding has been proven to reduce bacterial count and increase total product quality. The FIFO Bleeding Wheel can be fitted into any type of workflow on land or at sea, wild or farmed as well as white or oily fish processing. The Skaginn 3X FIFO Bleeding Wheel uses the first-in, first-out process, which ensures that the first fish that enter the bleeding wheel will also be the first to leave. This enables secure traceability. The design of the bleeding wheel keeps fish together in unique groups, which then travel as a batch through the rest of the system. This batching supports full traceability as each batch is automatically recorded and tracked by computer.

Automatic Tub Handling and Infeed System
The automatic tub handling and infeed systems from Skaginn 3X are composed of a customizable range of cost-effective modules, from standalone machines to complete systems. Automatically controlling the infeed of raw material into the initial stage of processing allows for more even handling compared to traditional methods using forklifts. The result is that all subsequent stages of processing are also more evenly regulated, allowing the processing line to operate at optimal capacity. These solutions provide superior handling of raw materials and increased production flow. By minimizing tub contact with forklifts, the system and its gentle handling extends the useful life of the tubs.
Automatic Tub Washing System
Skaginn3X automatic tub washing system is composed of a customizable range of cost-effective modules, from standalone machines up to complete systems. The system meets all hygiene standards required in the food industry and is energy efficient, including water recycling, which also reduces operational costs. Our concept also saves space in challenging situations. Labor requirements are considerably reduced, as buffering and washing are combined in a fully automated solution. The system can handle most standard tub sizes, and its flexible design results in a high capacity system that also saves on space. Water and energy consumption is five times lower than conventional high-pressure washing.
