Bernt Messtechnik was founded in 1978 by Mr. Reinhard Bernt. In the beginning flame detectors and controllers from Fireye Inc. were distributed. The product range extended more and more with instruments for Gas Detection, Gas Analysis, Flame Detection, Level Measurement, Ex-Signal Devices and for Plant- and Ecophysiology measurements. The manufacturers General Monitors (Gas Detection), NEO Monitors (In Situ LaserGas Spectroscopy) and Teledyne Analytical Instruments (Gas Analysis) are worldwide leading suppliers for such instruments.
