The SoniTrack geophone pig tracking system from CDI is a versatile and powerful tool for monitoring pigs moving along a pipeline over great distances. It uses a geophone probe to amplify pig movement over many kilometers, and features a built-in, digitally-tuned FM transmitter for quick and easy broadcast of pig movement to surrounding vehicles.

CDI - Model CD42-T1A - Legacy Transmitter
The CD42-T1A is a durable and extraordinarily reliable stainless steel transmitter that has been a go-to option for many people for many years. It is recommended for pipeline diameters between 8″ to 28″ and can be mounted in or on almost any type of pipeline pig. The transmitter can operate for a minimum of 500 hours on 6 AA-Cell batteries and comes with a pressure switch option for projects which may require delay-on behavior.
