The CellTec Block Trimmer+ efficiently removes excess paraffin from the outside of a tissue cassette following embedding. The edges and writing surface of the tissue cassette are de-waxed effortlessly by passing the paraffin block across the patterned heated work surface. Melted paraffin wax is then collected in a disposable collection pot. The Block Trimmer+ allows users to prepare tissue blocks with no risk of damage to the printed text or barcode on the tissue cassette. It incorporates an ultra-fast heating system for rapid warm-up, which combined with an extra-large heated work surface allows multiple blocks to be passed across the work surface at one time. This significantly improves laboratory workflows.

The Cryoplate 4X Mini Cooling Plate features an ultra-compact footprint that allows the user to sit it on top of a microtome, saving more valuable bench space. It possesses several unique features such as virtually silent operation, a complete absence of vibrations and an anti-frost surface. Additionally, the advanced 4X Mini incorporates alarm monitoring, automatic turn-on/turn-off, automated commands and is LabIOT compatible.

The Cryoplate 4S Mini Cooling Plate uses the same technology as the routine 4S, except it has an ultra-compact footprint which will allow the Cryoplate Mini to sit on top of a microtome, saving valuable bench space. It possesses several unique features such as virtually silent operation, a complete absence of vibrations, and an anti-frost surface.

The Sermo Automated Tape Coverslipper produces coverslipped slides with superior optical quality for reliable long-term storage. The coverslipper is fast, easy to use and efficient, capable of producing approximately 1,200 slides per hour.  An intuitive user interface features touch-screen controls, allowing up to two slide racks to be loaded simultaneously. The Sermo Coverslipper is compatible with all commonly used mounting media.

The Modular Tissue Embedding Centre EC 350 is innovatively designed and easy to operate. Multiple configurations of the instrument set-up allow simple and flexible adaptation to your working method within the laboratory.

The Dispensing Console incorporates two large trays on either side of the wax dispenser for storing cassettes and moulds, which are heated independently. Its spacious, heated working surfaces are sloped towards the operator and ergonomically shaped to improve user comfort and incorporate a non-glare white LED illumination and adjustable magnifying glass. The Dispensing Console allows for continuous operation during busy periods with its 5L paraffin reservoir and operating panel for the easy programming of working times and temperatures.

The CellTec TruSlice Specimen Cut-Up System utilises colour-coded inserts to vary the slice thickness (2, 3, 4 and 5mm) which can be easily changed to adjust to the desired thickness of the specimen slice. During the cut-up, clear Perspex immobilisation plates ensure that users can control the pressure applied to a specimen preventing the possibility of deformation during slicing.

A complete starter kit for the CellTec TruSlice Specimen Cut-Up System (SKU: CBA-0100-00A). TruSlice utilises colour-coded inserts to vary the slice thickness (2,3,4 and 5mm), which can be easily changed to adjust to the desired thickness of the specimen slice.
During the cut-up, clear Perspex immobilisation plates ensure that users can control the pressure applied to a specimen reventing the possibility of deformation during slicing.

The CellCeps+ LED Heated Forceps with Smooth Jaw are electrically heated and designed to assist in the orientation and positioning of histological specimens during embedding in paraffin wax. They incorporate a safe, low voltage heating element, maintaining an optimum temperature for specimen manipulation in histological wax and can be used continuously without adjustment and significantly influencing the temperature of the tissue. Accommodating an LED light within the forceps improves visualisation when handling small biopsies and reduces the time needed to manipulate/orientate them. The polyurethane finger grip remains cool when in use, making these forceps comfortable to use for long periods.

The CellCeps+ Curved Heated Forceps are electrically heated instruments designed to assist in the orientation and positioning of histological specimens during embedding in paraffin wax. The forceps incorporates a safe, low-voltage heating element that maintains an optimum temperature for manipulating specimens in histological wax and may be used continuously without adjustment and without significantly influencing the temperature of the tissue. The curved tips of the forceps (Available in 1mm, 2mm and 4mm) are well suited for retrieving small biopsy specimens from inside a cassette, which reduces the time needed to manipulate/orientate small biopsies and reduces potential fragmentation. The reverse side of the curved tips can also be used as a flat surface to tamper the specimen flat during embedding.
