CPM Pipelines provides sales and service utilizing the latest in evolving leak detection technology. Traditional leak detection equipment and service has expanded through the use of various acoustic technologies (Gutermann). Incorporating these technologies into correlators for both transmission and distribution system piping, correlating loggers, and most recently advance IoT loggers that can be deployed remotely, and automatically feed data collected to the cloud via cellular transmission. Recently technologies have advanced to include satellite imaging, low voltage electrodes, in line inspection balls (Ingu Piper) and in line inspection pigs. Less we forget to mention the most recent introduction into the market, leak sniffing dogs.

CPM Pipelines offers a variety of solutions for improving operations at wastewater lift stations.  Due to the complexity of operations and the corrosive nature of the environment inside a lift station wet well, successful outcomes lie in analyzing specific needs and offering a variety of technologies to provide solutions.

Over the past 50 years pipeline rehabilitation has become a critical component for municipal and industrial clients to adopt and ensure infrastructure reliability and sustainability efficiently while protecting our natural resources. In response to the need for a sustainable, reliable pressure pipe rehabilitation solution, CPM Pipelines introduced a flexible fabric reinforced pipe (FFRP) system to the U.S. market about ten years ago, following 15 years of use in European infrastructure rehab.

Maintaining and/or replacing air release valves to help protect a wastewater pipeline’s system and maintain its efficiency is essential to preventing premature failure. Air release valves play a critical role in pressured pipelines, quickly venting large volumes of air during filling or startup, as well as normal operating conditions, and allowing air back into the pipeline during emptying, thus eliminating negative pressure. Malfunctioning air valves can cause air lock and pipeline collapse. In wastewater force main applications, it can promote the conversion of H2S gases to H2SO4, sulfuric acid, accelerating damage to the crown of a sewer force main resulting in premature failure and decreasing remaining lifetime use.
