The BD-20AC operates at a very high frequency in the MHz range, generating an electric field created around the electrode which is used for surface treating of polymers.  Included are 3 electrodes to treat a variety of surfaces.  The voltage is adjustable.  The unit consists of a power control unit and a separate high voltage handle.  What separates it from other models is that it generates an adjustable high voltage output of 10,000 to 45,000 volts at a high frequency of 4.5 MHz.  The spring tip electrode is flexible to protect delicate glassware under test.

Groundwater makes up a significant portion of Earth`s fresh water. Students will learn what groundwater is, how it moves through the subsurface, and how porosity and permeability affect its movement. The impact of environmental issues on certain areas will also be studied through this lens. As a hands-on activity, students will study water`s movement through three different substrates, measuring the porosity and permeability of each, then comparing the three. This kit includes enough material for 15 groups of students, and includes teacher`s manual, student study guide copymasters, and safety data sheets. Additional items needed: 50mL graduated cylinders, markers, and stopwatches.

This ultrasonic thickness gauge has an easy-to-read LCD display and is designed to measure the thickness of 10 preset materials. The TM-8811 features a built-in calibration function, low battery indicator and includes couplant.

The blade of this applicator measures only 0.5 x 0.5 x 2.5" (13 x 13 x 64mm). A 1.5" (38mm)wide precision ground gate is centered on each of the four edges. This restricted passage channels the flow of the dyne fluid through the gate while limiting the wet film thickness applied to a maximum of only one half of one mil (0.0005", or 12.5 microns). This tool can produce high quality drawdowns in a confined area, making direct benchtop testing a reality.
