Melica Environmental Consulting

Melica started as a member-owned consultancy firm in 1987. It evolved from the environmental movement in Göteborg, where biologists were commissioned to carry out environmental surveys. The actual name ‘Melica’ is Latin for a beautiful species of wild grass. This plant grows in beech forests, in Swedish ‘Bokskogen’, which is also the name of the environmental publishers that functioned as parent company to Melica.
