Workers who are only occasionally or unlikely to come into contact with hazardous materials, who do not require OSHA 40 Hour HAZWOPER certification, but are still required to take HAZWOPER training, are best served by taking OSHA 24 Hour HAZWOPER training.

This OSHA 16 Hour HAZWOPER Upgrade Online course is for workers with 24 Hour HAZWOPER training who wish to upgrade to the 40 Hour HAZWOPER training level. This version of the course provides training that is entirely online. If students have taken the 24 Hour HAZWOPER from another training provider, appropriate documentation must be provided before a 40 Hour HAZWOPER certificate is issued.

Who Should Take This Course? This OSHA 8 Hour HAZWOPER Supervisor (Initial) training is a one-time requirement for workers who supervise HAZWOPER employees. Like 24-hour and 40-hour HAZWOPER certificates, this certification must be refreshed each year. The OSHA 8 Hour HAZWOPER Supervisor Refresher refreshes Supervisor refresher training and a 24-hour or 40-hour HAZWOPER certificate. Students who have taken Supervisor training can take the HAZWOPER Supervisor Refresher or the regular HAZWOPER Refresher—they do not need to take both. Supervisor training must be taken after completion of 24- or 40-hour HAZWOPER training. The Initial course cannot be used as a substitute for the HAZWOPER refresher training requirement. 8 Hour HAZWOPER Refresher With Wallet ID Card. Meets Federal and State OSHA HAZWOPER refresher training requirements.  Students with 24- or 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification are required by OSHA to refresh their certification every year. The OSHA 8 Hour HAZWOPER Refresher course meets the requirements to refresh these certifications. There are several versions of this course to choose from, each with a different focus. Click on the Course Topics tab and click on each of the versions buttons to view the course content for each of these courses. No matter which version you choose, you will receive the same HAZWOPER Refresher certification. This course includes a PVC wallet ID card (with or without photo). Adding a photo after enrollment will cost an additional $10.

Workers who have taken the initial HAZWOPER Supervisor Training and need to refresh their HAZWOPER certificate can take the OSHA 8 Hour HAZWOPER Supervisor Refresher. This course refreshes both HAZWOPER Supervisor and 24- and 40-hour HAZWOPER certification. While this training is different from OSHA 8 Hour HAZWOPER Refresher training, students are not required to take both. Again, this Supervisor Refresher course is intended for those students who have already taken the OSHA 8 Hour HAZWOPER Supervisor (Initial) course. Students with HAZWOPER Supervisor (Initial) training that take this HAZWOPER Supervisor Refresher course do NOT need to take the regular HAZWOPER Refresher course as well. This course will serve as your HAZWOPER Refresher training for the year.

This DOT Hazmat General Awareness/Function Specific course is an in-depth course for all employees involved in the transportation of hazardous materials. This training is a 10-hour course targeted for workers with the intention of meeting General Awareness training requirement as well as several Function-specific Training requirements in addition to the basic requirements met by our 4-hour DOT Hazmat Basic General Awareness course.

This DOT Hazmat: Basic General Awareness course is an introductory course for all employees involved in the transportation of hazardous materials. This course provides a basic introduction to General Awareness compared to the Advanced instruction that includes some General Awareness topics in greater detail. All workers employed in an industry that involves the preparation or transportation of hazardous materials must have DOT General Awareness training. This includes not just drivers and manufacturers, but anyone who manufactures, repairs, or reconditions containers used to transport hazardous materials. This course also includes the DOT mandated Security Awareness training module.
