Bale Chasers

The original Super Chaser was first brought to market in 1995 and quickly made an impression on operators by handling 10 4×4 Hesston bales. This design was enhanced in 2006 and replaced by the Super Chaser Extra. This current product has extra capacity, allowing for 12 Hesston (4×4) bales instead of 10. 2002 saw the release of the equally as popular QM Super Chaser and was designed to take every other size of big bale except the Hesston. It takes 14 midi (4×3), 18 quadrant (4×2), 24 mini (3×3) or 27 3×2 bales and bales are stacked on their strings to ensure stability. This was later replaced by the further improved QM Extra in 2012 with an extra 20% capacity. It also features air suspension, radial tyres, air brakes with ABS and hydraulic extensions to the pushers and side gates.

Bale Grab

The Heath Super Grab is a truly innovative solution to large bale handling. A bale grab with a total ‘free release system’ enables fast but safer bale stacking and loading. The Super Grab is designed for easy and safe handling of big square bales. It has a capability of holding up to four bales at one time, in a secure grip. A central frame carries two wing sections, each equipped with four 70cm Hardox steel tines to get a firm grip of Hesston (4×4), Midi (4×3) or quadrant (4×2) bales. The design allows bales to be moved and a placed down in either a vertical stack or horizontally. Having the ability to load or unload four bales in one movement, with the stack all in line and tightly packed, inarguably saves time and makes for a safer process. The claw like grab design means the headboard doesn’t need to extend higher than the top bale, thus allowing maximum stack height in any shed whilst preventing roof damage.

Bale Spike

The Heath Super Spike is a bale handling spike with safety at the forefront. There are currently three models in the superspike range, all built with strength and longevity in mind. All models are designed to ensure safer and easier unloading of bales, both in the field and back at the yard. All models have a 1.5 tonne carrying capacity, using three or four steel spikes depending on the design. In all designs the spikes are situated in a rotating back bar allowing for an upright folded position for safer road transport. The standard and HD Super Spike models have an additional feature where by the back frame can also extend, using a hydraulic system. This allows support to additional bales giving the standard model the ability to safely carry up to three bales at once and the HD model up to four bales.

Beavertail Trailers

Similar to the flatbed trailer but with the addition of a sloping rear bed section resulting in a low loading height and hydraulic ramps, ideal for transporting vehicles and machinery. We offer our beavertail trailers in 25ft (BT25) or 32ft (BT32) lengths, both made with heavy duty universal beam chassis for maximum load. The BT25 is built with twin axles providing a 16t load rating, whereas the BT32 has a tri axle design, increasing the load rating to 24t. Both designs feature multi leaf suspension and 10 stud axles with 420mm x 180mm drum brakes along with 19” mini super single wheels. All models have a softwood boarded bed with 4mm chequered plate beavertail and ramps featuring welded ribs for safer and easier loading. They also include a fixed headboard complete with rave sockets as standard, along with multi hole side channels for easy strapping.

Crop Roller

With increased straw yields and larger combines comes greater swaths of straw. The Heath crop roller is designed to compress the swath to allow clearance under the tractor and make it easier for the baler pick-up. The crop roller is 1.8m wide and has a tapered centre reel to optimise compression of the swath. It attaches to the front linkage of a tractor but can also be coupled with a front weight box for optimum practicality. See our Front Weight Box product page for more information about this attachment.
