Lab Management System

OnLAB is the Lab Management tool from Online LIMS specifically designed for geochemical or environmental production labs. A powerful and unique feature of OnLAB is the ability to handle both routine and batch jobs simultaneously, giving the user unprecedented flexibility. Routine jobs allow samples to be logged and track effortlessly, while a batch job can accommodate even the most demanding analysis request from lab clients. OnLAB is very efficient and user friendly. It is characterized by a unique job browser interface and analytical reports are presented in a familiar spreadsheet format similar to MS Excel. OnLAB provides important real-time information such as the lab’s current workload status as well as other statistical and financial information needed by lab managers and supervisors.

Electronic Lab Notebook For Technicians

The Online ELN Worksheet is a powerful data management tool designed to integrate the laboratory at the bench level and to standardize all analytical techniques. It handles all the complex raw data manipulations allowing only clean and formatted final results to be forwarded to the Database / LIMS system. This user-friendly tool enables analysts to structure and manage their workload by creating technique-specific worksheets. It captures analytical data from lab instruments, performs calculations, monitors data quality by tight integration with the advanced Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) system, and exports data to any LIMS or relational database. Online ELN Worksheet is also a workload management tool that enables analysts to manage and schedule their work. A unique color-coding scheme is used to quickly identify the status of the laboratory workload (jobs that are pending, completed, etc.)

Online LIMS Quality Control and Assurance QA/QC

OnLQC is the Online LIMS Quality Control and Assurance Control Module. Unlike other QC systems, OnLQC is an advanced interactive statistical module. The two graphic cursors allow the user to include or exclude outliers for statistical analysis. Data points may also be hidden, removing them from the statistics calculations to observe the effect of outliers. Each point can also be individually annotated, further documenting QC issues. The LIMS QA/QC module plots Shewhart control charts with standard values by report or worksheet and provides the analyst with the data required to make informed decisions. Other charting options include: Cumulative Sum and X Control. All of these charts can be exported directly to MS Excel along with all the pertinent statistics. OnLQC provides “real time” QA/QC data by automatically extracting the standard samples from the reports and updating the QA/QC database.

Online Quality Charting System

Online Quality Charting is a device that scans the LIMS database automatically for published results. These results are then charted and displayed on a large monitor. OnChart also analyzes the data, sending email alerts for any data that is out of control. Simplicity is the key to OnChart’s power. Its hardware ensures flexibility as it is composed of an industrially embedded computer comprised of several interfaces and an open architecture. Its hardware requires consumption of very little energy, guaranteeing maximum lifetime usage. Finally, with pre-installed Linux (embedded Debian), the hardware’s stability and robustness are unsurpassed.
