Online Raman Instrumentation
Model PI-200 - Online Process Raman System
The PI-200 Raman instrument offers a number of applications in process monitoring, and chemical analysis. The combined use of a Laboratory system for property modeling, in conjunction with an online process monitoring system, will give accurate, realtime measurement of chemical properties within a process. Saving critical time, and in the end, critical cost.
Model NEMA 4X Purged - Enclosure for Our Line of Online Raman
Process Instruments introduces its purged, NEMA 4X enclosure for our line of online Raman, multiplexed, instrumentation for use in classified areas.
Raman Fiber Multiplexer
The Fiber Optic System for Raman Spectroscopy (U.S. patent No. 6,859,581B1) can be used to expand the use of our Raman Spectrometer. Through switching the excitation and collection fibers. Our raman spectrometer can monitor up to 18 probes. This can be done with minimal signal loss, and very high repeatability. The Fiber Optic Multiplexer had become popular with feedforward applications for refineries, where our PI-200 and multiplexer control their blending header while looking ant the incoming component streams. The Fiber Optic Multiplex system can come in a variety of options. We offer a 5, 9 or 18 Max channel configurations.
Raman Fiber Optic Probes
Custom I/O System
In many instances, the PI-200 will need to record additional data regarding field conditions, or, in some instances, trigger indicators and switches. Process Instruments has developed a number of solutions for customers over the years involving several different technologies. These allow flexible configurations that are scalable to the customer’s specific needs. The data collected via the dinrail I/O once compiled by the PI-200, is stored according date-time stamp for later access in analyzing the spectral data.
Laboratory Raman Instrumentation
Model PI-200 - Laboratory Raman Analyzer
The Raman Lab system was designed to be used in a refinery laboratory for measurement of routine laboratory samples. Since each spectral acquisition and output of Raman predicted parameters only take 2 to 3 minutes, if the lab system is used in conjunction with a sample handling system, a laboratory instrument will help free up lab personnel and reduce lab equipment requirements. The Raman system can also be used to maintain the integrity of a current model or develop new models for additional streams. Once the component stream models have been developed, routine unit samples can be run on the lab system to predict all of the key parameters.
Model PII-AS-42 - Liquid Autosampler
The PII-AS-42 (Liquid Autosampler) accessory is now available for delivery. The liquid autosampler incorporates our standard flow through Raman sample cell and uses an InPhotonics Raman probe to optically connect the laboratory accessory to our PI-200-L (Laboratory) Raman spectrograph. The accessory can hold up to 42 sample bottles (40 ml volume) with open lids and Silicone/PTFE (0.090"/0.010" thick) septa seals to ensure that volatiles remain in the sample during testing.
Model PII-AS-LPG - LPG Auto Sampler
The PII-AS-LPG (LPG-Autosampler, Patent Pending) accessory is now available for delivery. The LPG autosampler incorporates our standard flow through Raman sample cell and uses an InPhotonics Raman probe to optically connect the laboratory accessory to our PI-200-L (Laboratory) Raman spectrograph. The accessory can hold up to 6 sample cylinders. Double block/bleed valves with minimal dead space and complete flushing of the lines post spectrum acquisition are some of the methods used to ensure there is no cross contamination between different cylinders.
Raman Lasers
High Powered Diode Laser
Our standard lasers deliver up to 400 mW of power through a 100 um fiber, and high power capability upto 1,500 mW is available if requested.
Low Powered Diode Laser
Our low powered lasers deliver up to 55 mW of single mode laser power. Similar to our high power lasers, the low powered lasers have excellent frequency and intensity stability, and a long lifetime.
