Level 2 Award in Practical Reuse and Refurbishment Training
Learners will develop the basic knowledge and skills required by employers within the sustainable resource and waste management sector to support the transition to a greener, circular economy. This qualification is designed for anyone looking to improve their employment prospects for the future by developing practical reuse and refurbishment skills that can be used to prevent items becoming waste. Once learners have achieved this qualification, they will be able to progress directly into entry level job roles or support local community projects.
Level 3 Award in Health and Safety Supervision Training
This first-of-its-kind qualification: Is designed specifically for workers in the waste industry for supervisors and managers. Focuses on health and safety leadership, behavioural safety, effective risk assessment and current legislation and regulations. Provides a framework for effective training and information that can help improve site, and non-site health and safety performance.
COTC Site Cover Training
QSP are able to provide temporary CoTC cover for all aspects of sites requiring a technical competent manager. We can provide cover for hazardous, non hazardous and inert transfer, treatment, landfill facilities and ELV.
Metal Recycling Contractor Competency Scheme (MRCCS) Training
The Metal Recycling Contractor Competency Scheme (MRCCS) has been developed in collaboration with the British Metals Recycling Association (BMRA). The MRCCS tests provide evidence of individual capability and competency; enabling organisations to quickly and easily check that contractors have the required skills and training, and health and safety awareness to work on a site in the metal recycling sector. This will lead to improved health and safety in the workplace and reduce the risk of accidents occurring on site.
Continuing Competency
Continuing Competence Refresher Course
In England and Wales CIWM and WAMITAB`s Operator Competence Scheme has a requirement for individuals to keep their competence up to date. Therefore all competent persons falling within the Scheme will be required to demonstrate ‘Continuing Competence` and this will be appropriate to the level of risk posed by the facility so that it remains proportional.
Continuing Competence Test Training Course
The test you will be required to take will depend on what competence you wish to achieve and/or maintain. Guidance can be obtained from your local Environment Agency officer or from the WAMITAB web site. However, it is essential that you know which test/options to take before travelling to the test centre.

Level 3 Certificate Course in Occupational Health and Safety
For people who already work with health and safety procedures within an organisation of any size - whether managers, supervisors or staff. Individuals who are looking to seek and gain certification to prove their competency in their role.

QSP are an accredited City and Guilds assessment centre offering a range of Health and Safety qualifications.
Level 4, 5, 6 or 7 Professional Recognition Award (Leadership and Management) Training Course
The Professional Recognition Awards have been developed for those at the highest professional level within their chosen careers. They will enable you to demonstrate your knowledge and skills within any sector or role.
