Seid applications

In 1997. our company went into a cooperation with a large fish-feed manufacturer, who had to remove odour from their fish-feed manufacturing plant in the outskirt of the city. After a test-period, using the Non-Thermal Plasma technology, the fish-feed manufacturer managed to reduce the odour concentration from the chimney by 90%. Local authorities approved the solution and the imission to the environment. Since then, this fish-feed manufacturer has installed the technology and are today cleansing close to 200 000 m3/h by using the ModuPlasma` technology from Seid and after 25 years, still approved by the local authorities.

In the early 2 000, our company went into a cooperation with one of the largest petfood factories in Europe, who were challenged by local odour complaints, with odour pollution coming from one of their factories. Together with the local factory, we made test-runs with our pilot plant and based on these results, this European factory bought our Non-Thermal Plasma technology with full capacity to treat 150 000 m3/h. Since then, all European petfood factories within this company are adapting our technology and we have become a key-supplier to this large organization.

In 2017. our company was in contact with one of the largest Pharmaceutical companies, who needed a solution to take away enzymes from the emisson before emitting this to free atmosphere. Seid has installed a system with capacity to treat 140 000 m3/h and have successfully removed the enzymes and completely oxidized the emission before the air is led through the chimney.

A large European manufacturer of feed & flavour ingredients to human food installed the ModuPlasma technology in 2005. with an airflow capacity of 40 000 m3/h to take away the odour from their process. Due to the high oxidation efficiency with this technology, we removed 95% of the odour and also removed the particulate content by a factor of 99%.

Applications in coal mining, the processing of non-ferrous metals, costeaning and preparation in mines require technology and materials capable of withstanding the most extreme conditions. Schenck Process solutions prevail where others give up. Our products are durable, indestructible and extremely reliable under the most difficult conditions.

Whether large lumps or the finest fragment, wet or dry and irrespective of whether using ore, scrap, lime powder or hot sinter up to 1,000 °C – vibratory equipment supplied by Schenck Process can deal with all types of bulk materials. Every year around 10 million tonnes of raw coal are freed of impurities with the help of our coal washing plants – which represents our contribution to environmentally friendly energy production.

Our customised application solutions include both heavy-duty and static weighing technology, conveying, screening, drying & cooling and dewatering. From planning and design through to the construction of the plant sections, reliable controls and connection to data systems.

Every year around 1.1 billion tons of steel are produced and that figure is growing fast. We can find this fascinating material everywhere: in multi-storey buildings, bridges, trains, machines and in everyday objects like screws, paper clips, and knives. The various procedures involved in the manufacture of steel are also fascinating. The most well-known of these is the Linz-Donawitz process (or LD process), also known as the basic oxygen steel making process. Schenck Process works with a number of recognised industry leaders including Siemens VAIPOSCO and Hismelt to provide raw materials and feed systems that combine accuracy and reliability to help in the stable production of consistently high quality metal.

In continuous production systems, the additives are frequently fed to a mixer using the gravimetric dosing process. This requires both high dosing accuracy and consistency. You have the optimum recipe – we have the right weighing and feeding solution for even your most complex tasks.

The combination of know-how, field-proven technology and many years of experience enables Schenck Process to offer customers within the fertiliser industry tailor-made solutions.
