Last December 2016 GPR24.COM.PL Company (Poland) participated in an archaeological investigation on the legendary Wanda Mound in Krakow city.

This hill was built supposedly in VII—VIII centuries and it is assumed to be the resting place of the legendary princess Wanda, which was a daughter of Krakus, the founder of Krakow.

According to legend, Wanda committed suicide by throwing herse

efore GPR surveying we have to set step of acquisition in Synchro program settings:

We got different GPR profiles with different values of Step of acquisition.
See the results below:

A subsurface radar technique is used for a microwave non-invasive probing in opaque regions in soils, rocks, fresh water, brick, concrete etc. There is an inherent complexity of a subsurface radar survey some. Unavoidable features of a radar functioning, numerous wave propagation and scattering events complicate seriously a radar data processing and an interpretation [3]. Such electromagnetic events in subsurface radar involve:

  • dispersion effects caused namely by internal water

Abstract - The paper describes a method of kinetic antenna development that can be adapted to environmental conditions. The kinetic antenna is a variety of integrated into impulse generator active antenna that is used for kinetic energy accumulation. Such antennas are attractive for ground penetrating radars owing to its possibility to change radiation spectrum in according with ground properties. The adaptive kinetic antenna design has examined experimentally. It is shown th

Abstract - This paper presents a 2-D scalar numerical time-domain (TD) model based on physical optics (PO) for simulation of electromagnetic phenomena. This TD-PO model should be applied for detection and location of objects hidden in opaque media by subsurface TD radar system. The proposed approach allows considering of basic physical principles, governing electromagnetic radiation and scattering and reception, to form electromagnetic image of subsurface region by simulation

ABSTRACT
This paper deals with the application of ultra-wide band time-domain subsurface radars, equipped with special signal processing techniques, to realize non-invasive image testing of the building walls` internal structure that are made with brick, stone, concrete, reinforced concrete and other construction materials. There are two normally associated problems, qualitative and quantitative, considered. Limitations and shortcomings of radar imaging, due to inherent

Introduction
Target visualisation is main goal of the practical radargram recovering procedure. There are a lot of visualisation algorithms (2D-filtering. migration. FFT etc.) that is mainly based on final images processing. Existent methods are not frequently allowed to get adequate results due to considerably complex properties of the surrounding target environment.

In this work an approach to target visualisation based on phased-array effect in antennas with t

Abstract
A novel method of short electromagnetic pulse producing by electrical dipole antenna is a topic of this paper. This method assumes the antenna current interruption instead of voltage pulse excitation. In this case antenna-generator matching requirements are considerable simplified and antenna radiation efficiency is increased.

In according to proposed method the electromagnetic impulse radiator prototype was developed. Antemia current is interrupted b

Abstract
The VIY-2 ground penetrating radar (GPR) with unique sounding possibilities and use simplicity is presented at this paper. The VIY-2 GPR combines all units (synchronizer, transmitting and receiving modules, power supply and antenna system) into single case. The VIY-2 GPR communicates with computer via standard interface RS232 or USB 1.0. Utilized by the VIY-2 GPR technical solutions reduce deployment time and simplify survey process.

The VIY-2 GPR des

Abstract
Electromagnetic radiation efficiency and radiating capability of impulse antenna are discussed at this paper. A term of impulse antenna is referred to an electromagnetic pulse radiation system with short pulse response. Relation between such antenna characteristics as storage factor, efficiency and radiating capability is considered here. Improvement methods of impulse antemia efficiency and radiating capability are discussed also.

Possibilities of im
