Dec 2006 – WALCHEM CORPORATION, Holliston, MA, The EK Series Metering Pumps, with IP67construction, are the first waterproof solenoid-metering pump designed for the harshest of environments.
The EK Series are solenoid-driven, diaphragm metering pumps with capacities up to 6.7 GPH (25.4 l/h) and a maximum pressure of 150 PSI (10 bar).

At 360 strokes per minute, the EK Series provides an outstanding 1800:1 turndown ratio and will reduce the slug feeding found in most competitive pumps.
The EK Series pumps are perfect for indoor and outdoor applications where the pumps are frequently washed down. The one-piece, molded housing and the sealing gaskets on the cover and liquid end keep moisture out. The membrane switches and stroke control of the pump are mounted opposite the liquid end, under a protective, clear cover. The display utilizes a high temperature LCD that provides extra protection from sunlight in outdoor applications. A stop function and an external control function are included for proportional control. The high compression ratio of the EK’s liquid end combined with the double check valves result in the ability to prime quickly and maintain prime. The EW is backed with a complete 2-year warranty including the liquid end and diaphragm.
The EK is another example of Walchem’s commitment to bring its customers the best technology in metering pumps and analytical controls.
