Finn Re-Launches High-Capacity T400 HydroSeeder for Large-Scale Seeding Projects

Fairfield, Ohio — FINN Corporation re-introduces the T400 HydroSeeder, a high-capacity machine designed to support large-scale seeding, erosion control, post-construction, highway, pipeline, and reclamation projects.

The T400 is built on the proven platform of the T330 HydroSeeder and increases tank and material capacity for crews that need to cover more ground with fewer refills. It features a 3,975-gallon liquid tank capacity, 3,600-gallon working capacity, and material capacity of 12,400 pounds of granular solids and 1,800 pounds of fiber mulch, making it suitable for demanding, high-volume applications.

Key components and operator-focused features include a 134 HP John Deere 4045HFC04 industrial water-cooled Tier 4 Final turbo diesel engine, a large centrifugal slurry pump, twin mechanical paddle agitators, liquid recirculation, and independent pump and agitator controls.

Design and convenience enhancements include a large sealed material loading hatch with a pivoting stainless steel bag cutter and safety grate, a ground-level control station with engine start/stop, throttle, and pump controls, and a digital engine information display. Optional equipment includes stainless steel tank components, hydraulic hose reel packages, Airflush, radio remote control, a second fill port, a hardened pump, and a rear spray bar.

FINN has added telematics capability to both the T330 and T400 to support equipment monitoring and fleet productivity as part of its Terralink platform; select FINN product lines are shipping from the factory with integrated telematics, with three additional machine types scheduled for rollout.
