We are thrilled to be awarded a fantastic contract that takes Butyl Products back to a site first visited in the mid 1970`s. St. Helena lies some 1,200 miles off the coast of southwest Africa and has a total area of around 47 square miles. Butyl Products Ltd. Group originally lined reservoirs on the island a little over 40 years ago and after long years in service they now require relining. The project requires 4,800m2 of 1.00mm Butyl rubber plus Geotextile protection layers and will take around 7 days to complete. Goods are en route to the remote location and our installation team will follow in a few days.
