4B - High-Intensity Underflow Separator
The high-intensity flow separator was designed to operate in difficult conditions, where contaminants are of relatively large sizes, e.g. nuts, bolts, etc. The unit comprises two magnetic poles that generate high-intensity magnetic fields. It is secured to the discharge chute by a complete system of hinges and clamp closures. These clamp closures ensure even pressure around the seal to prevent product leakage.
The flow magnet can be incorporated into any type of bent pipe or discharge section. Suitable locations include raw material inlets such as grains, rice, corn, bran, animal feed, etc. Two collection chambers ensure that attracted contaminants cannot be washed away.
Because the magnet is typically installed in angled discharge sections, any product of any size can be processed through the top of the magnet. Safety opening sensors can be integrated into the magnet to stop the process in case of accidental opening.
