Exeon - Model hi-flo -Activated Carbon System

SHARE

Exeon’s Range of hi-flo™ Odour and Pollution control units are a containerized deep-bed odour adsorption system. The hi-flo™ range use a single or twin vertical deep bed of activated carbon, of a type suitably selected for the application, to provide emission control of non-compliant discharges, with correct prefiltration as required to maximise carbon life.

These systems are suitable for high airflows for a wide range of high concentration applications, including: Ventilation for factories with high levels of odour Waste Transfer Facilities and RDF plants Anaerobic digestion plants Typically these can be used on existing or proposed process discharges requiring Odour & emission control. Airflow levels: 5,000m3/hr – 100,000m3/hr +. Up to 80,000m3/hr per module, and multiple modules can be provided – so there is no upper limit on airflow.

The Activated carbon is carefully selected to ensure optimum life and Odour / emission control. Exeon can also design, supply and install dust pre-filtration units to remove high levels of dust and maximise the life of the Activated carbon.

  • Packaged unit complete with dust filters, carbon bed, access gantry, and fan and controls where appropriate.
  • High removal efficiencies for many gaseous pollutants, using an appropriately selected carbon media bed.
  • Removes pollutants such as NH3, H2S, VOC’s, Mercaptans and also used on a wider range of odour bearing chemicals.
  • Capacities of 1,000 – 40,000 m³/hr per system and modular for intervening and larger sizes. Air flows of 500,000m³/hr + can be achieved.
  • Efficiencies up to 99%
  • Ongoing ease of maintenance

  • Applications Include
  • Waste handling emission treatment
  • Anaerobic Digestion
  • Sewage treatment & Composting
  • Food Production & Abattoirs

Using fans the hi-flo extracts air from the building and draws it through the system.

Air moves across through the static, high capacity dust filter system designed to remove dust from the air flow. The dust filters are individually sealed and accessed via an access door.

Then the back pressure of the carbon bed forces even distribution of the air through the bed. This is at a measured pressure rate to ensure sufficient odour emission reduction.

Finally the air is extracted through centrifugal fans and discharged out the stack.
