Pylon - Model 600A/610A -Active Cells Detectors
Pylon’s Instrument Manufacturing Division active cells are Lucas type scintillation cells. Active cells are used for grab sampling, continuous monitoring, sniffing, etc. The atmosphere or sample that contains radon and / or thoron gas is actively placed into the cell. The 600A and 610A are designed for use with the AB7 and AB6A monitors. Pylon also offers non standard versions of these cells including variants that are designed to detect high radon and thoron activity levels.
