Siap-Micros - Model t043 TP/TPUW -Atmospherical Precipitation Sensor
Precipitation transducer, collecting area 500/1000 cm². TP rain gauges are very performant and reliable sensors for the measurement of both rainfall intensity and amount. The measuring principle is based on a tipping bucket mechanism, thoroughly designed in order to achieve very high standards of accuracy in the whole range, minimizing friction during the oscillating action of the bucket.
The TP is available in the version with impulse/reed contact output only (TP500-N and TP1000-N) and in the version equipped with electronic correction system (TP500-E and TP1000-E) to compensate the error caused by the tilting-pan measurement technology, ensuring high levels of performance even when heavy rainfalls occur. A further version (TP500-12 and TP1000-12) with electronic correction is available with a difference in the serial output protocol: SDI-12 instead of Modbus. The body is made of aluminium alloy and painted with a special anti-UV paint which ensures long-lasting quality and resistance to the weather events. All available models are supplied with power and signal cable (12m).
