Automatic Backflush-Filters
Filtration of hydrous media. Flow capacity up to 250 m³/h (in relation to clean water). Nominal width DN150 (optional DN100, 125, 200). Programmable control. Welded design in one piece of 1.4571. Backwashing without interruption of the operation. No moving parts within the system. Low flushing times. Compact, standing design. Filtration ratings from 50 µm nominal up. Max. allowable pressure 10 bar. Max. allowable temperature 80 °C. Design and calculation acc. PED 2014/68/EU. Optional TÜV acceptance, higher pressures and temperatures, special materials, special seals, backflushing with other media etc. Backflush-filter in customer specific design.
The medium flows from inside to outside through the filter element. The dirt particles are deposited inside the filter element. The differential pressure rises in relation to the dirt amount. Reaching a special limit the backwashing is triggered. This causes a local reversal of the flow.
The dirt will be flushed from the inside of the filter element with a little amount of medium. The filtration happens continuously during the backwashing.
