The purpose of this equipment is to reta in and separate floating and suspended voluminous bodies dragged along by the wastewater. The bar screen incorporates a rotating arm with a rake fitted to its end. This arm is automatically triggered when the bar screen clogs up with solids, dragging them away from the screen and dropping them in a basket. The screen should be installed inside a built channel, the measurements for which are listed in the table of features.
