Application: For mechanical pretreatment of wastewater/rainfall water, removes all particles larger than the chosen plates on the drum. Device is multifunctional: collects, transports and drains water form the collected waste in the pressing zone.

- On the internal side of the rotating drum waste water flow brings bulk waste which remains on the drum plates, on its internal side. By rotating, the drum lifts the waste on its upper side.
- On the upper side, just behind the drum, there is a spray lath with nozzles. Spray lath is connected to clean water supply using electromagnetic valve. Water flow from nozzles takes off the collected waste material and throws it towards the drum center into the open basin placed on the lower part of the spiral.
- Spiral transports water to the pressing-draining zone, where, after the water is separated, waste is being removed from the device, usually discharged to the municipal container for solid waste.
- Clean water is using electromagnetic valve introduced into the pressing zione and it rinses the sludge made by pressing the material. Rinsed sludge is drained with a pipe and returned back to the inlet of the device.
