The vertical rake screen from R&O, designed for screening wastewater, is a robust mechanically-welded assembly composed of a frame consisting of sectional tubes and folded plates.
The waste lifting bucket is toothed, to match the form of the screen. It is articulated on a carriage, guided on two slide rails by corrosion-resistance pads,which lowers and lifts the screen within the channel.
The various bucket actions (open, close, raise, lower) are carried out by means of an electric actuator and straps wound around aluminium pulleys and moved using a gear motor.
