Schott - Model BA and B-FW -Backflow Preventer

Backflow preventers BA are used as safety valves on standpipes and distributors for temporary drinking water supply. Their use is governed amongst others by DIN EN 1717, DIN 2001-2 and DVGW W 408. For the tapping of water for fire-fighting at hydrants by the fire department, backflow preventer in accordance B-FW to DIN 14346 are prescribed. The use is governed by DVGW W 405-1. Backflow preventers type BA and B-FW are safe up to category 4 according to DIN EN 1717. Our backflow preventers BA are also available as retrofittable safety valves.
