Feritech - Model FT0614 -Barrel Guide
The Feritech FT0614 Barrel Guide, is a guide ring designed to support the mid section of a barrel during gravity coring operations. The guide sits at the bottom of the barrel tube, keeping the barrel ridged to ensure straight and clean sample penetration. This simple device allows the same barrels to be used in both of Feritech’s main coring systems, FT520 Gravity corer and FT551 Vibro corer. Saving vital deck space when deployments are utilising both systems, as only one stock of barrels is required.
- Simple installation
- Reusable—can be moved to a new barrel if a barrel becomes damaged.
- Available in the following standard sizes:
- Type A barrel - OD 101.6mm, sample - 84mm
- Type B barrel - OD 127mm, sample - 106mm
