A bin vent is an industrial dust collector equipped with automatic online pulse-jet cleaning used to clean displaced air and harmful products. Bin vent dust collectors feature rugged welded housings and can be built to handle air volumes ranging from 100 to 20,000 cubic feet per minute. Bin vents are designed to clear bins, storage silos, mixers, blenders, pneumatic conveying systems of any type, and any other device used to contain or control dust particles. Bin ventS use an exterior fan that pulls processed air through the filter and discharges it back into the atmosphere. Bin vents can use bags or cartridges as the filter medium. Compressed air is then used to purge the filter medium of choice and force the dust or particles to fall off the exterior and into the object it’s cleaning.
