Applied Membrane Technology (AMT) offers tailored membrane surface chemistries for a range of bio-processing applications. Membrane surfaces can contain hydroxyl groups, amino groups, sulfoxides, as well as Nano coatings of silicones, fluorosilicones, fluoropolymers, hydrocarbon polymers or grafted gels.

Strong, integrally skinned outer layers of AMT coatings onto membrane substrates allow tailoring for several bio-applications such as:

Membrane Material/Construction
AMT’s composite membranes are stronger than commonly used bioprocess materials. Made from FDA grade materials with zero extractables, the membranes are solvent resistant.
Technology
AMT uses a blend of Plasma polymerization and conventional technologies to create its products. Advantages of our technology are enhanced chemical, thermal, and long term stability due to coated composite membrane structures made from robust materials.
