Exeon -Â Model bio-flo-EC -Biofilter System
Exeon’s bio-flo is a biofilter system designed for absorption of odours and emissions across a wide range of waste, sewage and general industrial applications. We utilise specific bacteria specially cultivated for the application. Exeon also has a bio-flo-EC open-top biofilter range which can be found the link below.
- Containerised, packaged unit complete with dust filters, pumice stone media, access gantry, and fan and controls.
- Suitable bacteria utilised that is specifically cultivated for the application.
- Best suited for high moisture content and high concentrations of H2S, Mercaptans and other waste emissions from buffer, sludge and sewage vessel venting.
- Capacities of 1,000 – 150,000 m³/hr and modular for intervening and larger sizes.
- With correct media selection they can operate 15-20+ years without need for change.

Using fans the bio-flo Modular™ extracts air from the vessel/ building, and draws it through the system.
Air moves across through the static, high capacity dust filter system designed to remove dust from the air flow.
The dust filters are individually sealed and accessed via an access door.
The air is then evenly dispersed in the bottom of the system and drawn up through the pumice stone filter bed.
Chemical is introduced from the top, by overlapping irrigation ensuring the whole bed is saturated evenly therefore avoiding dry areas and subsequent emission bypass.
Finally the air is discharged out the stack.
