EKOflow - Model COMP -Compact Pretreatment Unit

Construction:

• Depending on the required function, unit is delivered in two standard versions, EKOflow COMP1 which is equipped with an automatic fine sieve to extract solids and sand trap to extract sand and other solid particles, and EKOflow COMP3 which is additionally equipped with a grease trap to extract fat and other floating substances.

Operation principles:

• Waste water is transported to unit either by pump or gravity. Fine sieve separates all fine particles larger than the size of sieve perforations. Separated material is lifted by the shaftless spiral and is washed accordingly
• Thus purified wastewater flows to settling tank where the sand and other solid particles are settled to the bottom. If necessary, the air is inserted into wastewater to improve the effect of sedimentation. Shaftless spiral transports sand and solids particles to the receiving chamber from which it is drawn through the elevated conveyor. Thus separated sand and other solid particles are lifted, drained and if necessary washed
• In case of unit equipped with grease removal, the wastewater passes through an additional chamber which separates grease and other floating substances.
