Mecana - Compact System

The compact plant combines two reliable and low-energy technologies – Rotating Biological Contactor and PCMF. The compactness of the technology enables the best wastewater treatment, even in isolated areas. The Mecana compact system represents a combination of immersion disk reactors and polishing filtration for biological and chemical-physical wastewater treatment. ecana RBC are fixed-bed biofilm reactors with slowly rotating disks as carrier material through which the wastewater flows. Excess sludge is separated in a subsequent stage via PCMF. The usual application ranges from 10 to 400 PE.
