Remember to purchase Conductivity Standard Solution to calibrate in order to ensure accuracy prior to testing. When calibration is necessary, simply submerge the electrode tip into calibration solution and adjust the trimmer on the side of the tester. We recommend 1,413µS for this instrument, see link below.

It is very important to determine the quantity of dissolved salts in water. High concentrations can cause corrosion and deposits in heating systems and can damage the aquatic plants and animals. DiST®3 is an affordable pocket tester that ensures precise EC readings.  HI 98303 (DiST® 3) reads in µS/cm. Automatic temperature compensation ensures correct readings. The digital display allows the operator to see the reading from every angle. Calibration is very simple. HI 98303 (DiST 3) is supplied with protective cap, screwdriver, batteries and instructions.
