ORC Advanced is a calcium-peroxide-based amendment designed for in situ bioremediation of petroleum hydrocarbons. A single application delivers a steady supply of oxygen for up to 12 months, stimulating aerobic microbes and driving degradation rates up to 100 times faster than natural attenuation.
Once applied, ORC Advanced reacts with groundwater to release oxygen in a controlled manner. This oxygen supports native microbial communities that break down petroleum hydrocarbons, providing fast, effective treatment with minimal disturbance and no continuously operating equipment to maintain.
ORC Advanced is well-suited for petroleum hydrocarbon impacts at service stations, tank sites, and industrial properties. It can be applied during excavation and mixed with backfil in pellet form or injected as a slurry directly into groundwater. It is compatible with ISCO and other bioremediation approaches for accelerated cleanup.
