Designed to control defrosting of frozen fish, cephalopods or crustaceans by immersion in sea water or fresh water at a set temperature. Process conditions: Temperature and speed of water recirculation, and air bubbling, are selected and controlled to preserve the quality of the fish, avoiding both the denaturalization of the proteins due to excessive temperature of the water, and the weight loss of the product due to excessive agitation of the water. In this way, the organoleptic characteristics of the product are preserved.

OPERATING THE MACHINE
- The blocks or pieces of frozen product are placed in the thawing tank and thawed for a period of time that depends on the size of the product pieces and the dimension and weight of the frozen block.
- The equipment has agitators with a propeller to recirculate the water and homogenize its temperature, and also an air blower to remove the product so that all the parts are defrozen gradually and in a similar manner.
- The frozen fish floats, but when thawed its density changes and it sinks to the base of the tank. The movement of the water transfers it to the area of the equipment where the conveyor is located, which takes the thawed fish out of the vat to continue its process.
DEFROSTING TANK:
- Built with plate and profiles in stainless steel quality AISI-316.
- Equipped with protection grids for the agitators and the conveyor area.
- With a double practicable base, for the recirculation of the water in a homogeneous way.
- Sanitary tank doors to facilitate the interior cleaning of the equipment.
WATER RECIRCULATION SYSTEM:
- Water recirculation by means of agitators with marine propeller, built entirely in stainless steel.
- The speed of the propeller and the direction of water circulation are programmable.
AIR BUBBLING SYSTEM – JACUZZI EFFECT:
- 5.5 kw blower turbine for the injection of air through stainless steel and plastic collectors located at the double base of the tank, in order to inject air as an aid to the movement of the raw material to facilitate its defreezing and washing.
- This air circuit has a manual exhaust valve, to vary the intensity of the air injection according to needs.
EXTRACTION CONVEYOR OF THE DEFROZEN PRODUCT:
- Conveyor for the extraction of the fish from INTRALOX modular plastic belt with pushers. PE material.
- The conveyor tilts to facilitate cleaning.
- Built-in stainless-steel quality AISI-316, and plastics approved for use in contact with food.
DIMENSIONS:
- Designed and manufactured to suit each project.
- Indicative dimensions (LxWxH): 6256 x 1586 x 2589 mm.
CONTROL PANEL:
- Electrical protection and control panel for all the components of the equipment with programmable automaton, speed variators and touch screen to facilitate the handling of the same, for example, timer, automatic start, stirring speeds, etc.
- Touch screen with JOSMAR® software to create defrosting “recipes” according to the different production needs and product parameters: stirring times, change of water flow direction, start and end of defreezing cycle, blowing times, rest times, stirring speed, blowing intensity, etc.
