Ceramic heat storage media are used for heat recovery. Typical applications are thermal exhaust gas cleaning units that depend on regenerative afterburning, thermal regenerators for process gases, and renewable power generation, which is used to Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) and odorous emissions etc.

Ceramic blocks as heat storage body, by the advantage of large specific surface area, small heat resistance, good thermal conductivity, excellent thermal shock resistance, realize quickly exchanging heat, reducing energy in the strict sense (up to 97% of true thermal energy can be recovery).
