Burns EngineeringModel S01 -Direct Immersion Sanitary Sensor

SHARE
The S01 direct immersion sanitary sensor by Burns Engineering is engineered for precise temperature measurement in narrow fluid lines. Incorporating options for RTD or thermocouple configurations, it is characterized by its swift response time due to the reduced diameter, which also limits stem conduction losses. Primarily designed to be mounted within short outlet tees in steam and other fluid process lines, it requires a minimum immersion of 1.1 inches for optimal accuracy. This sensor can be equipped with various connection heads, indicators, or extension cables to suit different installation environments. It features a choice between an NB connector, which allows the probe to be autoclave-cleanable, or an M12 connector, ensuring an IP67 rating for enhanced durability during washdowns.

Model S01 is designed to provide accurate temperature measurement in small diameter lines. The direct immersion small diameter offers a fast time response and minimizes stem conduction. Typically installed in a short outlet tee in steam lines and other process fluids. The Minimum recommended immersion is 1.1 inches. Available with a variety of connection heads, indicators, or extension cable. Two connector options provide for easy removal and installation. The NB connector option makes the probe fully cleanable in an autoclave. The M12 connector option provides for an IP67 rating when mated so it can remain installed during washdown.
