Kingda - Model WN (Q) Series -Dredging Pumps

The WNQ-type underwater dredging pump uses a single-casing structure to reduce pump weight and facilitate lifting and movement. All dredging pumps can use a spiral-sleeve L-type rubber seal for the shaft seal. This sealing device consists of three L-type sealing rings and a threaded shaft sleeve. To improve the shaft seal life, a sand-water separator can be installed to ensure the quality of the shaft seal water.

This series of pumps features a simple structure. Dredging pumps with a diameter of 500WN or less adopt a single-casing, single-stage, single-suction cantilevered horizontal structure. Two typical structures are available for gearbox connection: one with a built-in bracket and the other integrated with the pump housing. The bracket-type pump uses either grease or oil lubrication, and the shaft seal employs a mechanical seal or a mechanical seal plus packing composite seal. Dredging pumps with a diameter of 600WN or greater, specifically the WN-type in-chamber pump, adopt a double-casing, single-stage, single-suction cantilevered horizontal structure with a built-in bracket and forced thin oil lubrication. This series of pumps has good cavitation performance, ensuring strong suction capacity, and can achieve greater dredging depth and higher suction concentration; the impeller has a large flow channel width and strong flow capacity; the performance curve drops sharply, making the mud pump more adaptable to changes in discharge distance; by changing the pump speed or the impeller diameter, various pump performance adjustments can be made.

Primarily used in trailing suction hopper dredgers and cutter suction dredgers. Also used in river sand dredging and mining.
