FACCHINI - Dynamometer
This mechanical push-pull* Dynamometer has dual graduation dial for dependable tension and compression* measurements in decimal pound/gram or Newton/gram. Compact size, one hand use, and precision make the FD Dynamometer ideal for a wide variety of force gage applications. All models feature a push button peak force hold. The maximum or peak force is always retained by the Dynamometer unless the peak force button is pressed.
Each instrument may be hand-held or mounted on a test stand. To be mounted on a stand three dimples on rear of the housing provide strarting point for the screw.
The force measurement range begins at about 10% of full scale; use of the instrument below 25% of full scale may produce inaccurate results: another model with lower capacity may be necessary.
Each Dynamometer is individually calibrated with certfied weight to be used in horizontal position with an accuracy of +/- 1% full scale over 2000 grams and +/- 2% through 2000 grams. To be used in other position the weight of barrel and accessories should be add or deduct (read instrument manual). Forces must be applied to the load shaft only in axial manner to avoid reading errors.
Note that DT / DTN instruments have the same FD / FDN code. Example : DT 102 has a full scale of 2.5 Kg or 5 Lb.
