hinkGear is the name of NeuroSky`s single dry sensor technology that allows the measurement, amplification, filtering, A/D conversion, data processing and analysis of EEG signals and brainwaves integrated into a piece of ASIC chip. And it outputs eSense parameters (Attention and Meditation) and original EEG data according to standard interfaces, which greatly simplifies procedures of the EEG acquisition and analysis, reduces the costs, and makes the applications of brain waves much easier to the public. ThinkGear technology has been widely used in all the NeuroSky product and its partners` products. people can make human-computer interaction easily by these devices, including observing the users` real-time mental state and controlling them by "thoughts"

Characteristics of ThinkGear ASIC chip :
- Single dry electrode measurement technology (people just need to place a dry electrodes on the user's forehead for EEG measurement)
- Integrated neural signal filtering and amplifying functions.
- Integrated eSense algorithm (users don't need to do extra signal processing).
- Serial UART interfaces conformed to industry-standard.
- Can output two eSense Meters (Attention and Meditation), and output frequency of the data is 1Hz.
- Can output the brainwaves data of α, β, δ and θ, and output frequency of the data is 1Hz (optional).
- Can output the raw brainwaves data, and output frequency of the data is 128Hz or 512Hz (optional).
- Low power consumption, suitable for the devices which rely on battery and work long.
